We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Draftsman – Wet Utilities to support the preparation of design and construction drawings for water supply, sewerage, stormwater drainage, and recycled water systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of drafting principles, utility layout preparation, and basic civil engineering concepts related to wet infrastructure.
- Prepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, and longitudinal sections for wet utility networks including:
- Potable water distribution
- Sewerage collection
- Stormwater drainage systems
- Recycled/treated water networks
- Draft manhole, chamber, and valve pit details as per design standards.
- Develop and update AutoCAD drawings based on design inputs and field survey data.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings, coordination drawings, and layout plans for approvals.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to incorporate design changes and resolve drafting issues.
- Organize drawing files, maintain version control, and ensure drafting quality and standards.
- Use Civil 3D for generating profiles and corridors (training/support can be provided if needed).
- Ensure compliance with drafting guidelines as per CPHEEO, ULB norms, and client-specific standards.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; exposure to Civil 3D, MicroStation, or GIS tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of utility design concepts and civil infrastructure layout.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and survey data.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
