- Should be expert in AutoCAD and related design software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Should have Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles of design.
- Development of Engineering drawings.
- Main SLD
- Overall project GA layout
- Earthing layout
- Lightning layout
- Substation Layout
- Development of Cable Schedule drawings.
- Interpret engineering sketches and specifications and translate them into CAD drawings.
- Maintain the records of drawings, design documents.
- Co-ordinate with project team to ensure the drawings for GFC as per site current practical condition.
- Knowledge for design of Fire Alarm & Detection System.
- Hands on experience for site survey.
- Maintaining proper communication with legal team to ensure the land layout drawings are as per legally
cleared. - Quick response time on queries and closures.
- Proactive approach in giving feedback for electrical drawings and layouts.
- Adherence to systems and processes.
- Prepare/ update and communicate project wise design tracker on weekly basis.
Essential Skills:
- AutoCAD knowledge for reviewing drawings with basic drafting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and construction drawings.
- Expertise in other design tools.
- Knowledge of BIM/Revit MEP (optional but a plus).
