Fortress Infracon Limited is looking for skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsmen with few years of relevant experience to support our architectural and design teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in preparing accurate construction drawings, working drawings, and presentation sets for a variety of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed architectural and working drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Create and maintain construction documentation and as-built drawings.
- Work closely with architects and engineers to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Assist in preparing municipal drawings and approval documentation.
- Support in generating presentation drawings, layouts, and coordination drawings.
- Perform site visits when required to gather dimensions and verify design accuracy.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drafting files.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
- Familiarity with tools like SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Understanding of municipal by-laws and basic building codes.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
- High level of accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
