We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Wet Utility Designer to lead the planning and detailed design of wet utility networks, including water supply, sewerage, stormwater drainage, and recycled water systems for urban infrastructure and land development projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in utility master planning, hydraulic modeling, preparation of design drawings, and coordination with authorities and multidisciplinary teams. Experience working on government infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Lead the design and coordination of wet utility systems:
- Potable water supply (transmission & distribution)
- Sewerage systems (collection & disposal)
- Stormwater drainage
- Recycled/greywater reuse systems
- Perform hydraulic and hydrological modeling using tools such as EPANET, SewerGEMS, StormCAD,
Water GEMS, or SWMM. - Prepare conceptual layouts, detailed engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with CPHEEO, IS codes, MoUD guidelines, and local authority norms.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and planning teams to ensure seamless service integration.
- Interface with government authorities, ULBs, and SPVs for design approvals, NOCs, and utility interface
management. - Support the preparation of DPRs, feasibility reports, and tender documentation.
- Provide technical inputs during procurement and support construction teams during implementation
- Lead a team of junior engineers and CAD designers, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in hydraulic design tools (e.g., WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, EPANET).
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS platforms for utility layout preparation.
- Deep understanding of CPHEEO, NBC, IS codes, and local authority design criteria.
- Experience preparing utility master plans, phasing strategies, and resilience plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination with clients, consultants, and
authorities. - Ability to manage design teams and interface across disciplines.
